Eureka! I finally figured it out! I’ve been searching for the perfect way to share what this community truly means to me. While my original vision focused on celebrating multicultural living and helping women create meaningful lives, I always felt there was something missing—a way to bring it all together.

I’m excited to share that MulticultiChica is changing focus to explore the world together through stories, recipes, traditions, and beautiful snail mail.

Years ago, when I was a teenager living in Suriname, I saw an ad for international pen pals. I got curious and joined, making that one of my favorite hobbies: exchanging letters with pen pals from around the world. Those handwritten letters opened a window into everyday life in countries I had never visited. Through stories, recipes, traditions, and simple conversations, I discovered how much bigger the world was outside a tiny country in South America. Even though I stopped writing 15 years later (life happened), that experience has stayed with me ever since. I really missed connecting with people outside my world and build friendships globally, but I didn’t know how to get back to this, especially since almost 100% of communication is now electronic.

Inspired by the wonderful memories and after discovering that snail mail clubs are a thing again, I’m launching The MulticultiChica Mail Club.

Each month, members will receive a thoughtfully designed envelope celebrating a different country. Inside you’ll discover a collectible Country Explorer Card, a cultural letter, a recipe card, an illustrated postcard, a fun sticker, and a collection of useful words and phrases from that month’s destination.

We’ll begin our journey in Indonesia, followed by Italy and Chile, with many more destinations waiting to be explored. Do you have any specific country you’re interested in?

Whether you love cooking, travel, learning about different cultures, or simply receiving something special in your mailbox, I hope this little club brings a bit of joy and curiosity into your month.
