Thankful

“A thankful heart is not only the greatest virtue, but the parent of all other virtues.” – Cicero
Roman Philosopher

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving in the USA, and while it should not be the only time to give thanks, it is an annual celebration of gratefulness for the blessing we have in our lives. Good health, family, friends, loved ones, food, work, transportation, wealth, name it, we should be thankful for all of these every day of our lives. As I am. The Thanksgiving holiday is just another holiday that highlights the event and it’s a great time to getogether with family and friends, sharing food and fun (even fights in some families). We even made it a little tradition on our family where everyone expresses what they’re thankful for, from the oldest to the youngest. We are never too young to understand that we cannot take things for granted and learned early on that our blessings come from God, who will keep them coming as long as we believe…

“You simply will not be the same person two months from now after consciously giving thanks each day for the abundance that exists in your life. And you will have set in motion an ancient spiritual law: the more you have and are grateful for, the more will be given you.” Sarah Ban Breathnach, Author of Simple Abundance
